Carsharing helps reduce the total number of cars on the road while maintaining access to a car when you really need one. There are two ways to carshare - either through a carsharing company, where members reserve a fleet car, or through carsharing organizations where members share each others' personal cars. The list below includes carsharing providers of both types that offer services in the Bay Area:
